Fluffy White Frosting

Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  • 1 blend flour and milk in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
  • 2 Let stand at room temperature for several hours.
  • 3 Cream butter, sugar and vanilla in mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  • 4 Add milk mixture gradually, beating constantly until fluffy.
  • 5 Frost cooled cake.
  • 6 Enough frosting for a 2 layer cake.
