Honey Lime Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon water

Directions

  • 1 Saute onion in olive oil. Add wine, honey, lime juice, mustard, rosemary, salt and pepper,.
  • 2 bring mixture to boil. Combine cornstarch and water; mix well and add to sauce. Cook and stir until sauce thickens.
  • 3 Serving Suggestions: Serve over cooked turkey, chicken, fish or pork.
