Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs baby carrots
- 1/3 cup water
- 3 tablespoons butter (no subs!)
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- salt and pepper
Directions
- 1 Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer until carrots are crisp-tender (about 5-8 minutes).
- 2 Uncover and cook until juices are reduced (about 5 minutes).
- 3 Season with salt and pepper.
