Wedding Cake Frosting

Ingredients

• 1 lb powdered sugar, sifted
• 1/2 cup Crisco shortening, plus
• 2 tablespoons Crisco shortening
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1 1/2 teaspoons clear vanilla
• 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

• 1 Blend all ingredients at low speed on mixer till well blended and easy to work with.
• 2 Spread on cake after cake is completely cooled.
• 3 This is enough frosting for 1 - 2 layer cake or 1 sheet cake.
