Fluffy White Frosting
Time: 30 mins
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- 1 blend flour and milk in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
- 2 Let stand at room temperature for several hours.
- 3 Cream butter, sugar and vanilla in mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- 4 Add milk mixture gradually, beating constantly until fluffy.
- 5 Frost cooled cake.
- 6 Enough frosting for a 2 layer cake.
