Oriental Carrot Salad
Time: 15 mins
Ingredients
- 2 cups carrots, shredded
- 1/4 cup green pepper, finely minced
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 dash garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Directions
- 1 In medium bowl, combine carrots and green pepper.
- 2 In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
- 3 Add to carrots, mixing well.
- 4 Chill several hours to blend flavors.
- 5 (To toast sesame seeds, place them in a shallow pan in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes, or until lightly toasted, stirring occasionally.).
