Lemon Zest

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Directions

  • 1 In a small sauce pan bring water and sugar to a boil.
  • 2 Add grated lemon rind and continue to boil for about 5 minutes or until it becomes like syrup.
  • 3 Place in a small bottle or other container and refrigerate. It keeps up to 3 weeks.
