Oriental Carrot Salad

Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups carrots, shredded
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, finely minced
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  • 1 In medium bowl, combine carrots and green pepper.
  • 2 In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
  • 3 Add to carrots, mixing well.
  • 4 Chill several hours to blend flavors.
  • 5 (To toast sesame seeds, place them in a shallow pan in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes, or until lightly toasted, stirring occasionally.).
